Duties & Taxes

When shipping internationally, goods may incur duties and taxes imposed by the destination country’s customs.

Our prices do not include these charges, and all international orders ship on a Delivery Duties Unpaid (DDU) basis, meaning that any applicable duties, taxes, or handling fees are the customer’s responsibility.

You may be required to pay these fees to release your shipment from customs. For details on specific charges, we recommend consulting your local customs office, as Solway Blankets cannot accept liability for these fees, handling charges, or any customs-related delays.

Note that some countries, like the US, have a “de minimus” value, exempting low-value shipments from duties and taxes.
